As if I didn't learn my lesson, I installed ABR10 again on that server but can't connect to the agent with the management console. This in turn caused multiple problems due to that machine being the original DC on the domain and I just spent about $600 in support from a company yesterday to get the new server install straightened out. I couldn't even boot into Last Known Good Configuration. Support told me that it was likely an issue with the old SNAP driver not being removed during the uninstallation of True Image and now the installation of the new SNAP driver was causing a conflict. About half way through the agent install, the server got a BSOD, restarted, then went into a loop of BSOD, restart, BSOD, restart, etc. I uninstalled True Image, restarted, then began my ABR10 installation. Tech support (and I use this term very loosely) couldn't solve the problem and kept pushing on me the notion to upgrade to ABR10 Advanced Server. Mine differs thusly: I had True Image Echo Enterprise installed and was having problems getting backups. I am sorry I do not have a solution but I am facing the same issue. Obviously, this has installed properly before (I have a few snaps of it), obviously there are remnants of the old install, I've tried manually removing it but it appears to be more involved than the True Image uninstall thread that I read. It is the correct, however I usually only see this if a remnant of the original install is in there. Furthermore, when I try to reinstall B&R10, it already has my license server picked with no way to change it. Yet, I am able to reinstall Universal Restore without a hitch. I say this because Universal Restore cannot install without B&R10 installed. It was a very very very strange file name (I will post it here later), but all in all, I chalk it up to a heavily damaged install but no way to easily roll back. When I tried to repair the installation on the Agent, it said there was some unsigned driver and then said the file was missing. I had to reinstall/repair a lot of other applications since I rarely reboot for fun. The system BSODs on reboot (thanks for the heads up when I installed it. I am using Advanced Server trying to install a remote agent.
